** Why Do We Use KDF & Coconut Shell Carbon?
Coconut shell carbon is effective at removing/reducing many volatile organic chemicals (VOC), pesticides and herbicides, as well as chlorine, benzene, trihalomethane (THM) compounds, radon, solvents and hundreds of other man-made chemicals found in tap water. In addition, some have said that it makes the water taste “sweeter, cleaner, and crisper.” KDF-55 is effective at removing/reducing iron, manganese, and hydrogen sulfide. It is also effective at reducing free chlorine, heavy metals, scale build-up, and bacteria. Finally, KDF-55 will enhance the performance of the coconut shell carbon.
